The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for over six hundred years: since 1385, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Florentine guild of winemakers and wine merchants. Throughout its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always managed the business directly, making innovative and often bold decisions without ever losing sight of traditions and the region. Today the company is managed by Marchese Piero Antinori, assisted by three daughters, Albiera, Allegra and Alessia, who are responsible for specific areas of the business. Tradition, passion and intuition have made Antinori one of the leading Italian producers of quality wines.
The Antinori family now owns 24 wineries around the world, from Italy to the USA, Chile and Eastern Europe. Today, however, we want to focus on the Italian variety and, to be more precise, on Tuscany and Umbria. The vineyards in Tuscany range from Chianti Classico to Bolgheri and Montalcino. This allows the company to respond individually to the diversity of tastes and to be successful worldwide.
