One success story
Dominik Huber, born in Munich, star winemaker of Priorat and gastronomy lover.
Dominik Huber has always been fascinated by Mediterranean cuisine and the wines that go with it, and that’s how it was all to begin. The 27-year-old Dominik Huber did his first internship during his studies in 1996 at the Mas Martinet winery, which belongs to the Perez family. This was his first step into the world of wine and also his first connection with the Perez family. In 2000, he got a year’s job at Perez, where he also met his future companion Eben Sadie. Eben Sadie is a member of the Sadie Family, one of the most renowned winegrowing families in South Africa.
A year later, in 2001, Terroir al Límit was founded by two friends who also bought the grapes for their first wine from the Perez family.
Then it was one blow after another!
In 2003, the own wine cellar and the second wine line: Arbossar. In 2005 and 2006, the other independent wines Torroja, Les Manyes and Les Tosses were added to the portfolio.
Dominik Huber has been running the winery alone since 2012 and has achieved recognition throughout the wine world. His recipe for success to date is biodynamics, the independent vineyards with a vine age of up to 100 years and the autochthonous grape varieties of the region.
